Unfolding Joy of Learning – Shaping the Future
With your donation, you open the door to science for children.
“I want to know why!”
With this curiosity, every year more than 3,500 children visit the Children’s University of Zurich – all are welcome, regardless of their background or school performance.
Here, they discover just how exciting science can be. And for many, it’s more than just a visit to a lecture hall: it’s the moment when the spark of curiosity is ignited – and the joy of learning awakens (again).
This is made possible through the support of the University of Zurich as well as contributions from foundations and companies. To ensure that the programme remains open to all children in the long term, the Children’s University of Zurich is now, for the first time, also inviting private supporters to contribute.
Because every child – whether their path leads to university or an apprenticeship – should experience: learning can be great fun.
Your Impact
With 1 Swiss franc a day, you spark a joy for learning:
- Children experience, already in primary school, how exciting learning can be.
- In the lecture hall, in the lab, or in conversation with professors, they encounter science up close.
- Your donation opens doors – for all children, regardless of their background or educational opportunities.
