Children's University Lectures
Lectures (in German)
Registration for our spring semester 2025 is closed. You can register for our fall semester from September 1.
Your parents can subscribe to our newsletter to be informed about the next registration start and more.
Discover our lecture series (in German).
Our lectures will take place on campus Irchel and are free of charge. All our lectures are open for kids between 3rd and 6th grade.
Admission only with valid "Legi" for enrolled kids.
PLEASE NOTE:
Places are limited and will be drawn by lot. This means that you have not yet secured a place with your registration. It is not a case of “first come, first serve”.
All lectures are held in German.
Registration for the lecture series is valid for all four lectures (you can't register for single lectures).
You will be informed by the End of September if you have been allocated a place. Please note that we will only send out acceptances. If you do not receive an acceptance letter, this means that you have unfortunately not been offered a place.
If you have registered for the lectures and have been drawn by lot, you will receive your confirmation of admission (Legi) two weeks before the first lecture at the latest. You need the Legi to get into the hall.
Diplomas are only issued after all lectures have been attended. We make exceptions for excused absences. Please let us know in advance by e-mail if you are unable to attend.
Our lectures will be streamed live. This streaming offer only applies to lectures and not to workshops or excursions.
Children who take part in our live streams are not entitled to a semester legi or a diploma.
Children from 3rd to 6th grade are admitted to our lectures. The workshops and excursions indicate the grade level for which the event is intended. We make no exceptions for children who are not yet in the 3rd grade - regardless of how advanced they are (the Children's-UZH is not an institution for the promotion of gifted children).
