Your data at the Children's University of Zurich – explained simply

Here we explain in simple words how we handle your data. This is a simplified version – you can find the official and legally binding privacy policy of the University of Zurich here.

We only collect what we really need.
When you visit our website, the University of Zurich's computer briefly saves some technical information – for example, which page you visited. We need this to keep the website running and secure. If you register for our semester we need your personal information – but only for that purpose.

We delete your data when we no longer need it.
As soon as we no longer need your information, we'll delete it.

We tell you why we need your data.
When we need information from you, we always tell you what we use it for. We never do anything in secret.

We only use your data for what you gave it to us for.
If you register for a lecture, for example, we use your data only for that – and nothing else.

We keep your data safe.
Your information is safe with us. Only people who really need it are allowed to see it.

What are cookies?
Our website uses so-called cookies – these are small files that are briefly saved on your computer so that the website works better. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
