Rebecca schildert ihre Eindrücke über die Vorlesung zur Frage: Warum sind Computer-Algorithmen so schlau? Zusätzlich schrieb Rebecca über die Vorlesung zum Thema Gefühl und Herz.

Die spannende Vorlesung von Prof. Sven Helmer und Prof. Michael Böhlen gefiel mir sehr, weil das Thema Algorithmen mich sehr interessiert - und die anderen Kindern wohl auch. Das spezielle Zählen gefiel mir. Der Video war der Highlight weil es erklärte wie Algorithmen funktionieren. Es war sehr lehrreich und exzellent vorgestellt. Ich fand, dass man alles verstehen konnte das gesagt wurde. Ich hoffe, das die nächste Vorlesung auch so interessant ist.

I really enjoyed this interesting Lecture presented by Pr.Sven Helmer and pr.dr.michael böhlen because I am very fascinated by Algorithms- and I believe the other children were as well. The special way of counting was especially interesting. The video was a highlight since it explained how algorithms work. The lecture was very infomative and excellently presented. I found that you could understand everything that was being said. I hope that the next lecture will be just as fascinating.

Herz und Gefühl- was passiert, wenn das Herz aus dem Takt gerät? 

Letzten Mittwoch ging ich zur  dritten Kinderuniversität Vorlesung, die von PD. Dr. med. Christian Marc Schmied präsentiert wurde. Es war sehr interessant, weil ich fast nichts über das Herz wusste. Das Experiment mit dem Kind, das die Treppen hinauf und hinunter rannte, war lehrreich, weil wir herausfanden, dass, wenn man Sport treibt, dann pumpt das Blut schneller. Die Eltern waren auch aufgeregt, weil sie dieses Mal von den Treppen zuschauen durften. Bei der Präsentation durften die Kinder Fragen stellen und der Professor beantwortete sie detailreich. Ich freue mich auf die nächste Vorlesung.

Heart and feelings - what happens when your heart loses itˋs rhythm

Last Wednesday I went to the third Kinder-university lecture, which was presented by PD Dr.med. Christian Marc Schmidt. It was very interesting, because I don’t know much about the heart. The experiment with the child running up and down the stairs was informative because we found out that when you exercise, your blood pumps faster. The parents were also exited because this time they were allowed to sit on the steps and listen to the Lecture as well. The presentation allowed lots of time for the children to ask questions and for the Lecturer to answer these, which he answered in great detail. I am looking forward to the next Lecture.
